How will my order get delivered to me?

For Purchases from delivery will only take place via courier to the address of your choice. This can be a home or work address. Please be sure that you complete the address correctly when placing your order and be sure that there is someone available to sign for the package on delivery. This person must present their identity document when accepting receipt of the delivery.

How much will delivery cost me?

Orders to the value of R600 and greater will enjoy FREE delivery. Orders for less than R600 will be subject to an R80 delivery charge.

How long does it take for me to receive the products ordered?

A: Delivery of your products should occur within 3-5 working days after your order has been processed. The processing of an order takes 1-2 working days.

Do you deliver outside the borders of South Africa?

No, currently only South African orders are permitted.

How can I return my order or part of my order?

You have two options to return your order:

  • You may return defective products to Placecol at Imbalie Beauty, 23 Saddle drive, Woodmead Office Park, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191 for an exchange or refund. Returns via courier can be requested in your account section (User Account). The courier will collect from you at your designated address. Note, you will not need to pay the courier directly for returning your products, we will pay the Courier and deduct the cost from your final credit once we have received and processed your returned products. Make sure that you insert the return confirmation page into the package (you can either print the return confirmation online or you can fill in the printed one that we sent you with your order).
  • Refuse to sign for delivery. By signing that you have received the products, it means you are happy with them, if you are not happy with the products, please send them back straight away.

How much will it cost me to return my order?

If you choose to return your products using our Courier service, we will advise you of the estimated cost of the return while you are processing your return online, as the cost will vary depending on your location. We do not refund delivery costs, no matter which channel you decide to use to return your products, unless the products are faulty / defective.

If I return a product how will I be refunded?

Products will only qualify for a refund if the products are returned in an unopened or unused packaging, or if products delivered were defective, damaged or faulty upon delivery. In this instance the customer must notify Placecol Fresh Beauty in writing via email to within 48 hours of the product arriving. Refunds will be in the form of credit to your online account known as your e-wallet. (Click here to see your e-wallet) We will not refund your credit card. Courier costs for faulty / defective products returned to Placecol at imbalie Beauty, 23 Saddle drive, Woodmead Office Park, Woodmead, Johannesburg will be covered by Placecol Fresh Beauty. Courier costs for unwanted products will be deducted from the refunded credit to the customer’s online account.

Can I select somebody to receive my order for me if I am not going to be there when the Courier service delivers to me?

Yes you can, but do note that we will not accept responsibility for anyone who receives your order at your chosen address, that is not authorised to do so. You need to notify us of the details of such person who must produce their identity book when accepting receipt of the delivery.

What happens if there is nobody to receive my order when the Courier delivers to me?

If the first delivery is not successful then the Courier’s queries department will make an attempt to call you and arrange a date and time that is suitable for you to receive your delivery. After a third delivery attempt the Courier will return your order to Placecol Fresh Beauty and you will be credited for your purchase minus the cost of delivery and the cost of returning the package to us.

When can I cancel or return my order?

Once you have checked-out with your order online, you cannot cancel your order or initiate a return until you have received your order. Returns must occur within 30 days of purchase. To qualify for a refund the product must be in its original packaging un-opened and unused except in the case of faulty products. Returns for refunds or exchanges can take 7 to 10 working days to process from receipt of the returned product.

Where is my order?

You can track the status of your order by logging into your account and click on my orders. Once you have selected the order that you wish to track you will be able to see if your order has been received by Placecol Fresh Beauty.  If you selected a courier delivery option, then you will be able to track whether the order has been delivered to the address that you have chosen. You can also call our Customer Care on 0861 11 22 22 to get an update on where your order is. (User account)

You will be given three chances to enter the correct password, after which your profile will be locked. If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the Can't remember your password? link on the login page. We will then e-mail you a link where you can reset a new password.


How do I buy a gift voucher or gift card?

It's really easy! Simply follow the easy steps by clicking on the Gift Voucher Link

  • You can choose between a digital gift voucher or a physical beauty gift card
  • Digital gift vouchers will be sent to the recipient via email free of charge
  • Physical beauty gift cards will be subject to delivery charges
  • Indicate the value of the voucher/card you want to send
  • Choose who you want to send it to and indicate the email address.
  • You can personalise the digital gift voucher with a note from yourself.

I want to send a Gift to someone. Can I send my purchase to another recipient?

Yes you can. Simply enter the address of the person and their name when you select your shipping option.

How do I redeem a digital gift voucher or physical beauty gift card?

Digital gift vouchers or a physical beauty gift cards can only be redeemed at a Placecol Skin Care Clinic nationwide against treatments or products and cannot be used for online purchases.


Do I need to register to buy online?

Yes, you have to.

How do I register to buy online with

Simply click on the "my account" button on the top right hand side of your screen. Then select login, and if you are a new customer you will need to enter some basic information - it is really quick and easy and you only do this once. And don't worry, we will not share your personal details with anyone, and we will not contact you if you do not want us to. Your information is safe with us, as we subscribe to the strictest security standards meaning your information is safe from anyone who is not authorised to see it.

How do I buy online?

It is really easy! From your mobile phone or your PC you can register with us (click here to register). Then simply navigate around our site and choose the products you want to purchase and add them to your basket by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button. Once you have all your desired products the next step is the checkout: You will be prompted for your shipping option, and you can then choose your preferred payment option (see Payment options in FAQ's for the options that you have). Once you have completed your purchase we will then send you an e-mail to confirm that your purchase has been received by us.

How do I search for something specific in the online store?

There are three ways for you to find what you are looking for. You can select the category of product such as cleansers, toners, moisturisers etc., or by concern such as Lines and Wrinkles, Breakouts and Blemishes etc. or our skin consultants can also recommend products for purchase. Alternatively, you can just type in what you are looking for in the Search box at the top of the page, and we will show you any products that relates to your search criteria.

What if I order something that is out of stock?

If something is out of stock it will be indicated on the website and you will not be able to add it to your basket. If something goes out of stock before we are able to fill your order we will notify you of this and issue a credit to your online account for the product.

Is there a minimum order value to buy online from

No, we have no minimum order value but please note that to qualify for free delivery orders must be to the minimum value of R600 or more.


How do I sign-up for a Newsletter?

Simply click on the "Sign-up for our newsletter" button on the Home Page. If at any time you want to stop getting our newsletter, click on the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the newsletter and you will no longer receive a newsletter.


What does the Placecol Skin Consultation Do?

The Placecol Skin Consultation can recommend Placecol products to you based on your skin care needs. The recommendation is determined on your answers provided in the questionnaire and may not always be 100% accurate in recommending products as there are more variables in real life. We therefore recommend you go for a physical skin consultation to a Placecol Skin Care Clinic to get the most accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for your skin.
