Placecol to launch our Help Hetta Drive

Placecol to launch our Help Hetta Drive

In May 2019 Elma Mckenzie, our founder of Placecol and Benette Rautenbach from an organisation, Helpende Hand approached the Placecol group to address the need identified to help young girls (Hetta) who simply cannot afford to purchase their own basic personal care products.

During June 2019 this request was made a reality with the launch of the Help Hetta Drive into our Placecol salons.  This launch was made possible with the generous assistance of Alpha Pharm. The value of a Personal Care Pamper Pack, which consists of sanitary pads, deodorant, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, Vaseline and a lipbalm is approximately R170 and can now be sponsored to a young girl for R80.

All you need to do is to visit your nearest Placecol salon to help a young girl and sponsor a pack for R80 (we will arrange for the Personal Care Pamper Pack to be purchased and delivered).  Placecol will simultaneously compensate you for helping a young girl and give you a R100 off voucher (minimum spend of R350) to spoil yourself at your next visit.

“Over the next 3 months, June, July and August 2019 it will be our target to receive 3000 sponsorships for these young girls nationwide as it is our mission to make a positive change in the world and to improve lives”, says Esna Colyn, CEO of the group.

Thank you for helping us to change a young girl’s life.
